Overview
The House of India Temples program is designed to help Hindus all across the US receive support, free product, and access to our network. It is our goal for Hindus and those who are interested in Hinduism to be able to find a Temple nearest to them at any time to practice their faith and connect with their community.
Why House of India?
House of India gives Temples the opportunity to be able to participate in an e-commerce marketplace and serve as a store front for goods, services, and programs offered by the Temple to the community. This allows for Temples to be able to create community awareness about upcoming events, programs, and also provide a new revenue stream through e-commerce.
Seller Sign Up Walkthrough

Navigate to Seller Login
Go to https://home-of-india.sp-seller.webkul.com/index.php?p=login
Click “Join Now”
Click on “Join Now” under the seller login pane
Create your Account
Create your account by filling out the Seller Name, Email, and Password fields and click “Create Account”.
Congratulations! You have successfully signed up for House of India and are now ready to start entering your products.
Navigate through the admin portal.
The navigation menu is on the top of the page, if your screen is too small then click on the top right hand corner hamburger button for the full drop down menu.
From the menu you can navigate to all of the options in the admin console.
In the product options you will be able to navigate your product catalog, manage your product tags, product types, collections, and smart collections.
Collections are the product categories that are available for you to list your products in.
Choose from the available and relevant collections for temples.
We recommend the books collection for authors, use product tags to be able to add your books to the appropriate genres.
In the order menu you will be able to see all of your orders, payments, and invoices.
In the profile menu you will be able to manage your seller’s profile including your seller profile page and account settings.
Customize Your Store Page and Information
Customize your page by filling out the account details including your email, your name, your name under the seller shop name, your address, city, country, and zip code, under the store address fields, your contact number under seller contact, and your store’s description under short store description.
Upload a picture of yourself and your store’s profile picture on the right hand menu.
You can also change your password and navigate to your store’s profile using the right hand green buttons available under the navigation bar at the top of the page.
List your Products and Service Catalog
Click on the PRODUCTS drop down in the navigation bar. Here is where you can list your products.
To view your full product catalog select product listings from the products drop down.
To add new products to your product catalog click on the green + ADD PRODUCT button.
Add a product by filling out the fields including title, description, image, product type, product tags, weight, price, and collection.
A collection relates to the product categories shown in House of India.
Choose from the available and relevant collections. We recommend the following collections: Temples and Religious Services.
Assign your collections in the bottom right corner of the add product page under the product image upload panel.
Our Additional Free Offerings
Monthly Food Drives
We send all products every month to different Temples for Langar every month.
List your Temple on House of India and at least one service or program and we will make sure we send you products at least once a year!
Social Media Marketing
For every new House of India sign up we offer free postings across all of our channels.
Run a free active campaign across all of our social media channels whenever you have events, holidays events, or have a big announcement!
The more you update your listings with announcements and events the more free posts and active campaigns we will run.
Site Visit
Would you like us to visit your Temple?
We will send over a qualified representative from the program to visit your Temple and help you review your facilities, service catalog, programs, and inventory.
It is our goal to help your locations be the best places for prayer and worship while helping you serve your community.
